Tickets for carriages with reserved seats and general carriages go on sale on 17 November
On 17 November 2017, tickets will go on sale for carriages with reserved seats
and general carriages on long-distance trains operated by the Federal Passenger Company,
a subsidiary of Russian Railways, and departing from 1 January 1 2018.
The dates specified are in line with the transportation rules in accordance with
Order No. 473 issued by Russia’s Ministry of Transport on 19 December 2013 as
amended on 30 November 30 2016, as well as the date the order on tariff indexation
issued by Russia’s Federal Anti-Monopoly Service (FAS) entered into force and
which, by a decision of the FAS board, was submitted for registration with the Ministry
of Justice of the Russian Federation.
Passengers will be able to book tickets at ticket offices at railway stations and
travel agencies, as well as through electronic sales channels: terminals, the official
website of Russian Railways and the app “RZD Passengers”.
